Since becoming wheelchair bound, I've felt a desire to learn to play a musical instrument. After viewing several YouTube videos, I happened upon the mountain dulcimer. I'd never seen nor heard this instrument before, but I loved how it sounded and read how easy it was/is to learn to play. So I bought one. Other than casually playing the piano a little bit, off and on again, in my teenage years, I've not played a musical instrument before.
As of May 11, 2016, I've only had this instrument for two and a half months. So far, I am LOVING it! As I did with drawing, I'm am thus far self-taught from books and YouTube videos. If you have a desire to learn something new, act on that desire. It will bring you great joy and enrich your life.
